I heard the baby today!!
So our office assistant Tracy, got us the best gift for Christmas....a Fetal Doppler! My friend Ginger came by the office today and she is 17 weeks along, so we tried it on her...it worked! We could hear it really well so, I gave it a go and it worked! 115 beats per minute...it is already a beast!! It made this whole pregnancy feel real to hear the heartbeat in my belly! I already love it so much!

First Trimester
Today I'm almost ten weeks and I am finally blogging, so lots to catch up on.
First...how we found out. We gave the baby making thing a try and three weeks later no period, tender boobs, and extreme exhaustion! So, Zach says to me..."you should take a test." I say, "No cause if i'm not I'll be sad." He says, "If you take it and your are pregnant I'll take you to dinner!" I say, "OK!" I didn't have to pee, so there was barely any for the stick (nothing showed up neg or positive) So Zach decides to go for a run while I chug water. He was gone too long and I had to go so I finished with the first stick and it went straight to POSITIVE!!! I started shaking and crying and didn't know what to do with myself. so i stood in the yard with my positive stick waiting for Zach to return. I couldn't believe it and he wasn't back, so I took another test to be sure....straight to POSITIVE again! So now I'm in the yard with two pee sticks, shaking and waiting to tell my husband he's going to be a father! He finally returned and couldn't believe it!!
How do I feel...the craziest tired! I can't believe how tired one can be. Before I got pregnant, I stayed up til midnight and woke up around 8am. Now I go to bed at 8 or 9 and wake up at 7am. I really need that much sleep!! I've been a little cranky...Zach and Tracy(office assistant) can testify to that!
My appetite...last night I ate cheerios and an apple with peanut butter and craved french fries!! Cravings have been random...nothing in paticular...but when I get something in my head...I HAVE to have it!!
My Belly...slightly poochin but nothing noticable to anyone else. I'm going to start takin pics of the expansion, but hopefully that part of pregnancy isn't to eventful! ;) Til next time!
