Baby is very happy an I'm doing great I just HATE hospitals so I'm a Little miserable but all is well. I'll be posting the news soon!

Doctors Visit

Doctor's appt today didn't go so well...she said the baby was running out of fluid and we may need to induce. First of all, if any one knows me...I hate doing anything unnatural!! I'm frustrated because we are being scared into thinking we need to go ahead and get this baby out, when in actuallity if I increase my water intake the baby will have plenty of water and everything should be fine. What did they do back in the day when they didn't have all these machines to test for what 'Could' go wrong?!! Oh...and my placenta is out of the way and clear now...so that was worth worrying about!!!! Can you tell I'm a bit frustrated with this situation? Next time around I'll be doing things different. I consider myself pretty healthy, yet I'm still getting the pressure of possible c-sections and inductions...makes no sense! Ok i'm done venting. Besides that appt the baby and I are doing great!! Moving around like crazy still...I actually think it's working on burrowing out at night!
Thursday I was pretty sure the baby was on it's way, so I got mom down here and all is still again...figures! We've been walking every day and staying active, but nothing is happening. I hope the baby is a little early, so mom can spend time with her grandchild before she has to go! Zach is anxious like me hoping that every day is 'the' day, but otherwise he is doing well too!
Hopefully my next blog will be the good news!

About to POP!!!

37 weeks

Whoa!! Now thats a belly! I'm suprised you can't see a foot print on the side!! Not much has changed since last post. We went to the doctor tues and no progress so now i'm walking in the evenings whens it's not 100 degrees to try to speed this process up!! I know the baby grows and ounce a day so each day matters....I need to have the baby sooner than later!!!! I'm open for suggestions...hot sauce, bumpy roads...whatever...I'll do what it takes to not have a giant baby!!

Buy for now...hopefully next post will be welcoming baby sumrall!!! ;)

Baby News!

The baby is still moving all over the place! Baby thinks its ok to shove its butt under my right ribs then kickbox the left ribs! That's NOT ok!! So far we've only had two or three of those arguments. (which leads me to think its a girl, since we are already fighting) ;)
We finally went to register at the hospital yesterday and we were pleasantly suprised at how NOT busy it was!! I loved all the staff and nurses! They went out of their way to help us and give us a tour. Zach is most excited about the bed and tv they have in all the rooms. The hospital is so small that once you deliver they do everything in the room for the baby, so the baby never leaves your sight! My O.C.D. was put to rest once I heard that. Now that we have had the tour and know the doctors and nurses, I feel a little more ready. Though, I'm NOT ready for the pain!!!! Terrified!!!
We were walking in the mall the other day and the position of the baby now is head down...feet everywhere, but during that trip to the mall the feet were straight up. As we were walking the baby kicked straight up....I had to grab Zachs arm and cross my legs....for a moment I thought the baby was making a break for it!!
I have less than four weeks til my due date and I get more and more excited to find out what we are having!! We have a baby pool going at the office and all the patients guess the due date and gender...so far it's pretty much 50/50. But, I do love to hear their reasons for why they think its a boy or a girl...so random, but interesting!
I think thats it for now, I will try to do better at blogging as the end nears!

What I've been doing in my Absence! ;)

We redid the patio...finally!!

Silver Bullet finally got put to rest and replaced with my mom car, which I LOVE!! But, I'm gonna miss Bullet...she was soo good to me for TEN years!!!

My friends threw me the most beautiful shower...it was like a wedding!! They spoiled me and I didn't deserve it! ;)

My Mom and Ernie came down for two weeks and it was SO NICE having them here!!! I can't wait til the day they become winter texans!!

Third Sonogram

Monday I went to my third sonogram appt to see if my misbehavin placenta has relocated to a more acceptable postion....and the diagnosis is....placenta previa type one! Sounds fancy and serious, but before anyone panics, it is NO BIG DEAL! It turns out it happens quite often and I can still have a normal birth they just have to be careful that I don't bleed too much. Of course Zach, being the super dad he is, freaked!!! He couldn't make it to the appt with me so when I got back to the office and told him what was going on he decided to look on the internet about my condition....bad idea! He learned that it could lead to all these horrible problems, which have a 0.5% chance of happening, so I had to spend a little time calming him down. He got to come along to the doctors appt on tuesday, so he had his questions answered by the doctor and his nerves have settled. In a nutshell I'm doing great, feeling great, and the babies measurements are all very healthy. Yesterday the doctor asked if I had been feeling any movements...Zach and I busted, as I sat there getting kicked in the ribs, stomach and bladder!
For the record I wanted to put some boy/girl predictors on the blog to be able to read later when we find out what we are having....
Boy: Linea Negra extends above the belly button, Chinese calendar says boy, craves salt, carries low, feels good mostly with bouts of tiredness, 85% of family and friends guess boy
Girl: craves sweets
So as of now signs point to boy....I can't wait to find out....if it is a girl, she will defy the odds ;)
